The Sun Trip France Meeting Points

For almost a month, the solar adventurers of the Sun Trip will crisscross France, getting into contact with the population in cities and small villages, in castles, on beaches, at the top of passes or in mountain huts. They will go everywhere to explain their approach and demonstrate that new energies make it possible to move differently.

Find below a complete list of public times when you can plan to meet them. It is however specified that due to health constraints, access to collective accommodation and catering sites is reserved for participants. Thank you for your understanding.

The list will be updated daily, to be as precise as possible.

• Lyon – July 14 : official kickoff
  • Passage wink on Place des Terreaux at 9.45 am
    Departure ceremony at Lacroix Laval Park (11 am-1pm)
• July 16, 5:30 pm : welcome at the town hall of Blois and visit of the Château de Blois
• July 17th, 9 am: departure at the Ethic Etape Val De Loire at 8:30 am, then direction the edge of the Loire for the Château de Chambord – 10 / 12:30 pm.
• The Sun Trip France in Brittany:
  • July 20 at 9:30 am, departure from Saint Malo from the Center Ethic Etape Patrick Varangot.
  • On July 20 at 5 p.m., reception by Paimpol town hall and Groupama agency in the village center.
  • July 21 and 22: presence at the camping de Grève Blanche in Plouguerneau.
    On July 23 at 5 p.m., stop at Concarneau in the city center then at Atelier Z.
• Pau / Col du Tourmalet: 
  • On July 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., presentation of the project in downtown Pau square Georges V.
    On July 29, early departure from Pau to reach the Col de Tourmalet for Cycl’n Trip Pyrénées.
• Anduze: presence at the ethic étapes Val de l’Hort on August 3, then at the Bambouseraie d’Anduze in the afternoon. Departure in the center of the village on August 4 morning.
• La Haute Maurienne Vanoise: 
  • August 6 from 4 pm. to 6 pm: presentation of the Place de l’Auditorium project in Val Cenis + conference in the auditorium (6 p.m.).
    August 7 at 10 am : climb to the Plan du Lac autonomous refuge, press operation conducted in conjunction with the Vanoise National Park and the Haute-Maurienne-Vanoise Tourist Office.
• Bourg-Saint-Maurice: reception of supplies at 5 pm in the city center and climb to Les Chapieux (Hotel les Portes du Soleil). 
• Albertville, arrival on August 9:
  • 4 pm: tour of the districts
    5 pm: arrival and entertainment Place de l’Europe
    6 pm: closing ceremony and conference “What is your Vélosophie? Cycling in all its forms”
