The organisation of the Sun Trip Europe is being finalised, depending on the uncertainties of the moment. The good news of the moment is the officialisation of our collaboration with Sophie Planque and Jérémy Vaugeois!
The couple, travellers and journalists, recently made the news with a two-year cycling adventure from Alaska to Patagonia. The documentary on their journey has just been broadcast on Ushuaïa Tv. A superb production that convinced us to propose to Sophie and Jérémy to join the Sun Trip crew to follow this 2021 edition.
During the months of June and July they will be our two reporters, travelling the 10,000 km of the adventure on board a van from our partner Van-Away. Their mission: to tell us about the Sun Trip on a daily basis and to produce a video series highlighting the advantages of travelling in Europe. This work is carried out with the teams of the European Commission, which provides financial support for this operation. A fantastic opportunity to share the values of the Sun Trip and promote renewable energy!
Their motivation :
“We are very happy and proud to participate in our own way in this beautiful solar bike race across Europe. Carried by women and men who all have exciting stories to tell, we all share the values of the SunTrip. Surpassing oneself, discovery, openness to others, love for geography and nature, inclusion, freedom of movement, sharing, solidarity and we could go on and on… We are aware of the stakes involved in this project and will do our utmost to make it shine as best we can!”

The video car with Van-Away
After a first collaboration in 2020, and until solar cars can keep pace with solar bikes , we continue our partnership with Van-Away and one of them California’s van. A solution well suited for reporting on an adventure that never stops!
