Des entreprises dans l’aventure
Since 2018, Sun Trip has been offering companies the chance to join in our adventures, through communication operations and/or by registering employees. These are all opportunities to work on the project, making it ever more relevant to the CSR or internal/external communication issues of its supporters. It’s an inclusive project, thanks to the efficiency of the solar-powered bicycles, which has enabled some of the less athletic people to put in some great performances, particularly on the route from Savoie to Nice in 4 days.
Savoie-Nice 2024
Dans la continuité de nos efforts, nous sommes de retour du 4 au 8 juin 2024 au départ de la Savoie pour une traversée solaire en direction de Nice !
This route is intended to be a little gentler than the one proposed in 2023, where participants had to climb to an altitude of more than 2,600 metres twice. This year the highest point will be the Col de la Cayolle, and many of the routes will be new to the Sun Trip, particularly between the Col de Porte and Barcelonnette.
The group will be welcomed on the Promenade des Anglais for the Fête du vélo in Nice.

Participants
23 participants will be touring the French Alps in 2024, including 13 employees from 4 partner company teams, all of whom are new to solar bike travel. They will be joined by 10 well-known Suntrippers.
Your solar bicycles supplied by Solarmoov
SolarMoov is the first company, in France and elsewhere, to market solar trailers that can be fitted to electrically-assisted bicycles, enabling you to recharge your bike so you can travel long distances without recharging from the mains.
Their trailers are the fruit of several years’ testing and development of the solar bike concept. These are top-of-the-range trailers built in France using only the highest quality materials and accessories, guaranteeing unfailing durability during competitions such as the Suntrip or long expeditions.
A look back at the Savoie-Nice 2023 corporate stage
The Sun Trip Alpes 2023 was another opportunity to demonstrate the corporate potential of our events.
We offered companies the chance to take part in the first major stage of the route, from Savoie Technolac to Nice, in 3 days. The rest of the individual participants covered 2000km across 5 countries.
A total of 15 employees represented the 6 partner companies on this challenge, crossing mythical mountain passes such as the Col du Galibier (2642m) and the Col de la Bonette (2715m) with ease, powered by solar energy. It’s a unique opportunity to pass on the solar bike travel bug and share the values of the Sun Trip.
EDF, Aktid, Groupama, Vinci Airports, Bouygues Energies & Services, ASE-Energy: well done and thank you for your support, you have been the pioneers of the Sun Trip’s next 100% corporate projects.
