“En Benur Simone !“A group of able-bodied and disabled people will take part in the prologue to the Sun Trip 2021, from 1 to 12 June. The team will travel from Lyon to Brussels on the Benur tricycle, which allows everyone to cycle.
Innovative solution designed in Lyon, Benuris the only bike that can be used by everyone, in complete autonomy. It allows everyone to explore any playground, in the city or in the countryside, in complete freedom. A machine designed to meet the needs of users in any situation. Access ramp, reverse gear, steering angle, ergonomics, size, electric assistance, removable seat, nothing has been left to chance!
The group will be made up of 12 people, including 5 people with reduced mobility who will take turns on two Benur bikes, one of which will be equipped with a solar charging system! An adventure carried out with the help of the association Vélo Partout Pour tous. It should also be noted that the project leaders were able to count on the help of the champion Bernard Cauquil, never short of generosity and benevolence.
“This project within the project” is part of the beautiful history that the Sun Trip has been able to forge since its beginnings with the world of disability, in line with the dynamic launched in 2013 by the adventurers Tom Papay, Cédric Vinatier and Sylvain Machefert.
We are all the more proud that Joseph Mignozzi, founder of the Benur project and initiator of En Benur Simone, also had the idea of participating in the 1st Sun Trip 2013. 8 years later, the story continues and no doubt it will take us even further!
